How to insert an image in mauripedia.mu?
1. Open your browser. Type mauripedia.mu in the address bar.
You will see log in/create account on the top right corner. Click on login if you already have an account.
If you are a new user, click on create account.
If ever you have forgotten your password, click on E-mail new password button. The password will be emailed to the email account which you have used to register earlier.
2. Once you are logged in, you will see the Upload file link in toolbox on the left side bar (below the Go and Search button).
Click on the Upload file link.
Next, use the Browse… button to locate the image from your PC.
You can include a handwritten summary to describe the image. This will allow other people to be able to search for the image.
Now, click on the Upload file button.
If you wish to upload more images, just click on the Upload file link again and upload as many images as you wish.
This is how the content above appears in edit mode.
The last step consists of clicking on the embed file (image inside a white frame) icon in the edit mode. Click on the icon wherever you wish to place your images. You can insert many images in an article. In the article below, there are six different images inserted at different positions. You will need to change [File:Example.jpg] to the name of the image file. That’s all folk.

Note that you should use double [[ ]] while embedding the images. A single pair has been used here to illustrate the coding otherwise the respective images would have appeared instead of the coding.
