Seven coloured earth known as ‘Chamarel Park’ is a tourist site of Mauritius Island. It is found in the district of Black River of Mauritius, Chamarel Park offers to its inhabitant and of course to its tourists, a fabulous view of several marvellous things.

Found approximately 3km from the park, Chamarel offers a wonderful view of a breath taking waterfall view. It provides one’s mind with peace and love. The Chamarel Waterfall is around one meter high, The waterfall flows from two rivers and there is a small way that brings you down where you can swim too.

About 1.7 km away we have the seven coloured earth park. The earths are particularly unusual; created by volcanic rocks that cooled at different temperatures. The covering land of Chamarel is textured with brilliant patterns which can be seen on the hillsides area. The distinctive layers formed are the most striking feature of Chamarel's surrounding.

And if you mix the coloured earth together, they'll eventually settle into separate layers. The coloured earth is a real curiosity for the visitors and a wonder. The different colours of the earth are there as if it was disposed at this place to attract people, but it is just natural. All of this magnificient view has been created by volcanic rocks.
